What makes you stay at Tango?
I feel supported and encouraged by leadership and my team, I know that my opinions are heard and valued, and there are always exciting and challenging projects to work on. Working at Tango has really helped me grow as an engineer.
What’s the vibe on Tango’s engineering team?
I feel a deep sense of trust and support with this team. There are no egos, everyone is always willing to jump in and lend a hand, and we’re all constantly learning from one another.
What makes you feel like you

We promote an environment where collaboration and support are paramount, ensuring that every voice is heard and every contribution is valued. We embrace every challenge with enthusiasm and a can-do attitude, always exploring new ideas and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. We’re curious, not judgmental.
What do you appreciate most about Tango, as a working parent?
Working at Tango provides me a lot of flexibility so I can be a good parent. I attend school events, I’m there for my kids when they’re sick, and it’s easy to turn off work at the end of the day and go be with my family.
What’s an interesting problem you’ve solved at Tango?
My team worked on our Chrome Extension that seamlessly guides users through web pages. We developed a performant algorithm to reliably find elements on webpages, even after re-designs and changes.
What has working at Tango meant for your career?
Working at Tango has given me the opportunity to reach outside of my comfort zone. As a primarily front-end focused developer, I’ve had the chance to work on multiple facets of our codebase and develop new skills in areas I normally wouldn’t have access to. I have also been empowered to take on responsibilities beyond engineering and help shape product decisions.
